The QEII Foundation was established in 1996 as a non-profit, charitable body for the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Its mission, leading the spirit of philanthropy to enrich health care for Atlantic Canadians, is applied to raising funds for state of the art technology, community-based disease prevention initiatives, professional education and medical research.  Since its inception, the QEII Foundation has raised more than $150 million for the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
