Not only is Al Britten a champion for patients living with Cystic Fibrosis but he is also now an Angel in Action. 
Al was pinned with his Angel wings in recognition of his volunteer role with the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at the Halifax Infirmary, as well as his instrumental involvement with The Stephen Russell Cystic Fibrosis Fund, which helps patients with financial concerns during treatment including travel, parking, rent, etc. It is obvious that Al is extremely passionate about his involvement and impact with Cystic Fibrosis and was equally touched to be named an Angel in Action.
