Dr. Camille Hancock Friesen may have been just “doing her job” as she puts it but Michael Covert definitely considers her his Angel in Action.
Michael had the privilege of pinning Dr. Hancock Friesen with her Angel wings at the Maritime Heart Center in the Halifax Infirmary where Dr. Hancock
Friesen is a cardiac surgeon. “I never thought I would have my own set of angel wings,” laughed Dr. Hancock Friesen. “But this truly is an honour.”
Michael was a patient of Dr. Hancock Friesen’s in June 2009. “She had a great way of making me feel at ease, as did all the staff. She was kind, friendly and supportive,” said Michael. “All of the people connected with my surgery were wonderful - from the time of entry to leaving that day.”
