Each and every gift received by the QEII Foundation is special and appreciated and that is why we have developed a comprehensive donor recognition or stewardship program.
The QEII Foundation publishes an annual Stewardship Report to inform our donors of their gifts at work and to show accountability by disclosing our audited financial statements. In the past, we have recognized donors who have made gifts of $125 or more within the year by listing their names in the Stewardship Report.
The Wall of Honour recognizes and pays tribute to the thousands of individuals, organizations and corporations who have supported the excellent health care delivered at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
The Wall's arches are dedicated to listing the names of our donors - individuals and groups - who have made substantial donations through the QEII Foundation. The panels also contain photographic panels designed to highlight some of the medical disciplines within the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Each panel accents a different level of giving. Each year new names join those already on the panels and as donors' gifts grow, their names will move from one giving category to another to recognize their increasing level of giving.
A computerized kiosk, which complements the Wall, contains the names of donors from all categories and the Wall's panels list all donors from Colleague to Visionary levels. Special panels pay tribute to those who have had gifts made in their honour and those who have promised a gift in the future.
Smaller Walls of Honour are located throughout the QEII to heighten awareness of those whose gifts have been designated for a very specific purpose.
