Abnormal heart rhythms are a major source of serious symptoms and sudden death. Patients with this condition can't afford to wait long for procedures, but unfortunately, with only one heart rhythm lab in Nova Scotia, wait times are less than ideal.
A second heart rhythm lab is needed. The QEII Foundation is currently funding the creation of a second heart r
hythm lab, which will:
- Reduce patient wait times, which will decrease the risk of sudden death
- Attract world-class researchers and clinicians
- Will support and advance world-leading research
