Thursday, December 1st - The Halifax Mooseheads Jersey Auction was a huge success with over $14,000 raised in support of the Garden at Camp Hill Veterans' Memorial. Special thanks to the Halifax Mooseheads team for their commitment to this 4th annual fundraiser, Ken Doucette and staff at PSP Halifax for organizing and all who have supported by bidding and buying these one-of-a-kind hockey jerseys! Thank you!
The Halifax Mooseheads honoured the Canadian Forces with their 8th Annual DND Appreciation Game on Friday, November 4 at the Metro Centre.
In a tribute to the Canadian Forces, the Mooseheads wore a special "Navy" vintage jersey during the game against the Moncton Wildcats, some of which were raffled off game night.
The jerseys are beige and blue in colour with a Navy crest on the front and Marlant crest on the shoulder.
These jerseys were worn as a show of support for Canadian Forces troops, veterans and also for the 158 fallen soldiers that paid the supreme sacrifice while serving in Afghanistan.
