Extreme Pink-over for Weekend to End Breast Cancer

Bill Bean, the President & CEO of the QEII Foundation and a participant in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer this August 15-17, was challenged by volunteer Mike Sangster to get an Extreme Pink-over to raise funds for the event.

Bill, along with Robbie Shaw, President of the IWK Foundation and Mike Sangster planned to first dye their hair pink and then participate in a live on-air head shaving event on CTV – if they raised a total of $50,000 between them for The Weekend to End Breast Cancer.

Bill, Robbie and Mike not only met their target but surpassed it...$61,524.76 raised between them! On August 14th, the trio had their hair dyed pink and showed off their new style at a lunchtime BBQ in the Newman Gardens at the IWK.

On August 15th, the three men had their heads shaved bald live on Breakfast Television.
